It’s the end of my second day in London and it has been a whirlwind. I am writing from the balcony of my flat in Chelsea on the Imperial College of London campus.
Today was mostly dedicated to the Tower of London. One of those places you can walk through in an hour or spend the day. I ended up spending the day.
I also strolled down to the palace and found a guard coming out the side gate.
London is lovely. The weather has been great. I saw the production War Horse at the New London Theatre and watched a movie at a little movie theatre near the flat. They had reserved seating which was odd. The food has been great except for the traditional English breakfast which was oddly unappetizing.
Tomorrow is St Paul’s Cathedral for Eucharist Service and Westminster Abbey for Evensong.
